DESCRIPTION:Like A.P. Carter\, Steve Pavao is the patriarch of a family band: the Pavao Family Band. Steve’s songs share with those of the Carter Family the conveyance of simple but timeless messages told with little adornment. In addition\, Steve often performs solo\, as he did on his 2011 U.S. Northeast Spring Tour. With Pavao Family Band\, he has released the singles “Time To Go” b/w “Block Island Song” and “My Beautiful Friend” b/w “Confluence”. A solo rendition of “My Beautiful Friend” is also available on The Starving Artist compilation CD vol. 1. Steve regularly performs solo throughout the northeastern states\, and does occasional shows with Pavao Family Band during summertime months and on other special occasions.
