DESCRIPTION:Jesse Hanson is a multi-talented singer\, songwriter\, and string player hailing from the Greater Boston area. The Pulse Magazine has deemed her solo career “poised for success” and has caught the attention of national programs such as So You Think You Can Dance. She recently earned a spot on College Radio Day Records’ national 2013 compilation album along with Wilco after they selected her performance as one of the “best live college radio performances of 2013”. Additionally\, she won the New England Country Music Organization’s “Bluegrass Instrumentalist of the year 2013” title\, and advanced to the Northeast Invitational Country Music Showdown to win the same division. At the up-and-coming age of 19\, she co-produced and released her first album “Back to Boston” (2013)\, she has gone on tour nationally and internationally with both contemporary bands and classical orchestras\, she works as a violin and guitar instructor\, has worked with Grammy-award winning engineers as a studio string player\, and is currently working on a brand new EP project.
