DESCRIPTION:Kate Murphy lives in Gardner\, MA with her son Hunter and husband\, Lee. She is a painter and illustrator that has received multiple awards and recognitions\, including 3rd Prize in the Fitchburg Art Museum’s 77th Regional Art Exhibition. Her work has shown in multiple exhibitions and locations\, including the Gardner Ale house\, and the Gardner Public Library\, as well as ArtsWorcester’s Aurora Gallery and Worcester Windows. \nHer vibrant paintings and mixed media illustrations reveal complex yet ambiguous narratives of a cartoonish\, cubist reality that may in fact be our own.
