DESCRIPTION:“The Adventures of Charlie Bubbles!” is Paul Carafote’s first\, in a series of children’s books and is available at: www.charliebubblesbook.com  and  Amazon.com.  He will be hosting a book signing at Nu Cafe from 3-5PM on Saturday\, June 15th. \nPaul has been an award winning actor\, writer and director in Hollywood for more than 30 years. He began his career with a starring role in the 20th century fox film “Headn For Broadway.” He has appeared in countless television shows\, commercials and films starring alongside the likes of Brad Pitt\, James Gandolfini\, Tom Cruise\, and Demi Moore. Paul was a series regular on the hit television show “Knots Landing” Most recently appearing with Glenn Close on the critically acclaimed show “Damages”. He has won various entertainment awards including best writer for his play “Beyond The Ring” and\, most recently\, the Triple Threat Award for writing\, producing\, and directing his film “Club Soda.” \nPaul was raised in Somerville\, Ma where his family still resides today.  He comes from a family of educators.  His mother\, Mary\, was a music teacher at Somerville High School for over 30 years and two of his sisters currently work within the Somerville school system.  Paul is proud of his roots and was awarded the Key to the City of Somerville in 1990. \nPaul began writing his first book when his son Charlie was born. “Children have a way to move us into places we have never thought we were capable of. When the student is ready\, the teacher appears.” said Carafotes.
